As part of efforts to upgrade and standardize its operations, the new executive committee of the Gambia Volleyball Association has created a mechanism which will help promote collective participation in the affairs of the body.
The executive committee has created sub-committees tasked with the responsibility of taking care of the smooth running of the affairs of the association.
The sub committees: Marketing, Finance, Disciplinary, Coaches, Referees and Publicity, will help promote a vibrant
environment in the implementation of their activities, according to Musa Cassa Taal, President of the Gambia Volleyball Association.
Ahead of the national volleyball league set for June later this year, President Taal called on interested clubs to regularize their status with the association before the championship.
"Interested clubs can register now on the following numbers 7903500/9920303 and each team is required to pay a registration fee of D500.00," he pointed out.
