U-20 women’s national team, Saturday slipped to Burkina Faso 3-2 in the
first-leg of FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers, played at Fourth August Stadium
in Ouagadougou.
The
young women Scorpions now require to beat Burkina Faso at least 1-0 in the
second-leg in Banjul to progress to the second round of the qualifiers.
They
will go back to the training ground to prepare themselves fit enough for the
second-leg. The winner of the tie will sail to the second round of the
qualifiers.
