The Scorpions are set to use the international friendly against the Chipolopolo to prepare themselves for their 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers at home to South Africa on 4 June 2016, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
The Chipolopolo, on the other hand, will also use the international friendly tie against the Scorpions to prepare themselves well for their crunch 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers away to group leaders Guinea Bissau on 4 June 2016, in Bissau.
The friendly international is part of a series of technical training programmes set aside for the Scorpions ahead of their Group M AFCON Qualifier match at home to the Bafana Bafana of South Africa slated for June 4.
The friendly between The Gambia and Zambia will be the first time for the two senior national teams to come face off against each other at a top level.
The Gambia will use its blend of both local and foreign-based players as Head Coach Sang Ndong continues his rebuilding process for the Scorpions.
The ticket prizes for the game are as follows: VIP D250, covered pavilion D100, opposite covered D50 and other flanks D25.
