The Gambia’s U-20 team eyes positive results against Morocco National U-20 in Rabat to advance to the final round of the 2017 African U-20 Youth Championship qualifiers.

The Darling Scorpions will play away to the Young Atlas Lions in the second round second leg tie in Rabat on Sunday 12 June 2016, in Rabat at 10pm.

The Darling Scorpions are heading to the second leg clash with a one-zero advantage after beating the Young Atlas Lions 1-0 in the first leg encounter played in Banjul last month.

The Darling Scorpions need just a draw to progress to the final round of the qualifiers following their slender 1-0 win over the Young Atlas Lions in the first leg played in Banjul last month.

But if the Darling Scorpions concede a two-nil defeat against the Young Atlas Lions, they will lose the chance of going through to the final round of the qualifiers, to the Moroccans.

A draw however will see Morocco out and The Gambia through to the final round of the qualifiers after losing to the Darling Scorpions 1-0 in the first leg in Banjul last month.
