Gambia on Friday 12 May 2017 won the fair play award,in the 7th edition of the
West Africa Deaf Championship hosted in Mali.
The
Deaf Scorpions were decorated after their stunning performance in the
sub-regional football championship.
The
Gambian’s Mustapha Ndow was awarded the best referee in the tournament for his
outstanding performance throughout the competition.
The
Deaf Scorpions thrashed Ivory Coast 3-0 in their opening fixtures before clashing
with Nigeria in their second game.
