The
Technical Staff of the Gambia CHAM team have released the squad for the two
friendly international matches against Morocco U-20 team set for Sunday 26
March and Tuesday 28 March 2017, at the Independence Stadium in Bankau.
The
players were selected from the country’s domestic division one and division two
leagues for the two international friendly
matches against the Young Atlas Lions, as part of preparations for the
2018 CHAN Qualifiers at home to Mali in July 2017, at the Independence Stadium
in Bakau.
The
Gambia CHAN team technical staff will use the international ties against Young
Atlas Lion to scout formidable squad for their 2018 CHAN qualifiers against
fellow West Africans for a place in the next round of the qualifiers.
The
CHAN competition was initiated by CAF in 2009 for players plying their trade in
their domestic leagues.
