Lamin Darboe, an outstanding athlete of the Gambia Armed Forces athletics team that became the runners-up in the just ended Gambia Athletics Association (GAA) National Athletics Championship, has applauded his colleagues for their commitment and hard work during the three-day event.
Darboe registered his commendation for his colleagues in an interview with reporters at the GAA National Athletics Championship held at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at the weekend.
It was the efforts of his colleagues and his personal efforts that culminated in the Gambia Armed Forces securing second spot in this year’s National Athletics Championship, he said, adding that he believed with this wonderful performances, his side could win the next year’s event.
