Gambega Inter-School Championship kicks-off

Coca Cola Company, the major sponsor of the FIFA World Cup on Friday kicked-off their Inter-school Competition, at the Bottrop Senior Secondary in Brikama.

The championship, which is organised for the students of senior and junior schools, features different sporting categories, such as football and volleyball.

The game, which was staged as part of the events marking the championship saw Bottrop Senior Secondary School beat St Vicente Senior Secondary School 2-nil, thanks to goals from Musa Bah and Lamin Jammeh.

Speaking to reporters before the kick-off, the Vice-President of Bottrop Lamin Camara, urged the players to maintain discipline, as he stated, they are brothers.

He advised them to maintain fair-play throughout the tournament.
