GAF athletic team coach congratulates new NSC boss

Modou Lamin Jatta, who is said to be the coach of the Gambia Armed Forces Athletics team, has written a congratulatory message to Momodou Max Jallow for his appointment as the new Executive Secretary of the National Sports Council, the umbrella body in charge of all sports associations in The Gambia. It reads:

I received with joy and happiness the news of your recent appointment as the new Executive Secretary of the National Sports Council. This position is among the highest posts in the Bureau of Sports in The Gambia. You single-handedly took care of Brufut Marathon and as a development officer for many years without failure.
Your love for sports, your experience and your care for sports personnell will go a long way to serve as a spring board in developing our sports in The Gambia. You are an indisputable icon, unique and a tireless man in making sure sports in The Gambia goes to higher heights. Administration is not a new thing to you based on your vast knowledge and experience. The truth, the experience, the ability and a sense of humour are already there.

Sir, I join the rest of the sports lovers who will rally behind you to see your success through. You are the chain and we are the arms. So we will allow you to lean on us in order to sit comfortably. I will always follow your footsteps in order to excel like you one day. On that note sir, I wish and pray that the Almighty Allah shower endless blessings on you and to give you the strength and wisdom to conguer your obstacles that are ahead of you. I wish you long life, good health and happiness.
