The Fulla in Mansanjang Kunda, who took part in the just concluded Father Fleming-sponsored tournament on Tobaski day emerge winners in the four-team competition.
The teams were the Fulla team, the Sarahule team from Alungahaire, the Mandingo team and Cassa FC.
The three-day tournament was organised by Buba Jallow, a native of Basse Mansajang, and was sponsored by Father Ahmend Fleming.
The final played at the Mansajang football field witnessed the presentation of gold and silver medals to the participating teams by the sponsor.
The fitness tournament was aimed at building the fitness of the players in the area and to promote unity and understanding between the teams of different tribes in the region.
Father, a long-time friend of Mansajang, personally presented the medals to the players in the midst of several spectators.
