Former Managing Director Momodou Jallow and the Director of Power Generation of the National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC), Baba Fatajo, have been released on bail after been arrested, the police confirmed yesterday.
Jallow and Fatajo, who were sacked earlier this month, are now said to be reporting on bail at Police headquarters in
Superintendent Yerro Mballow, police public relations officer, told this paper that the two have been released on bail.
According to him, no charges have yet been preferred against them, as the matter is still under investigation.
“You cannot prefer charges against people when investigations are not completed,” he told this reporter, adding that this can only happen if there is evidence against someone.
