Sillah have been crowned champions of the 2017 Gunjur Upper and Senior
Secondary School inter-house athletics
championship title after clinching 525 points in a well-contested annual
sporting event staged at the school’s Football Field in Gunjur on Saturday.
They
are followed by Cabral with 510 points, Samory third place with 426 points and
Kwame fourth place with 425 points.
The
championship attracted spectators from Gunjur and environs for the School’s
annual sporting events.
The
school used the championship to scout good athletes that will represent them in
the 2017 West Coast Regional inter-schools athletics heats as well as the
national athletics championship set for later this year.
