Mr Seedy Kinteh and Mr Adama Halla Samba were part of those banned from contesting the elections, according to the decision of the Disciplinary Committee and following the lapse of the appeal period, they are accordingly banned, a press statement from the GFF signed by media officer Bakary B. Baldeh reported on Wednesday.
Earlier during the opening of nominations for the position of President of the GFF, four nominations were received from Seedy M.B. Kinteh, Adama Halla Samba, Mustapha Kebbeh, and Modou Moussa. An application for the position of President was also received from Kebba Yorro Manneh.
Mr Kebba Yorro Manneh`s application was not supported by any member of the GFF as required by article 41.3 of the GFF Constitution and so his application is accordingly rejected.
