Yahya Manneh, country director of Football Gambia, recently undertook one-day familiarization tour of the organization's project in Badibou Kerewan in the North Bank Region of The Gambia.

The main highlight of his visit was to preside over the opening of a skills centre and the Association for Child Education (TAFCEE).

The opening ceremony of the Kerewan project was done under the watchful eyes of two trustees of the Kit Aid, Thomas Enright Eddie, and Anne Ross, who are in the country to spearhead the initiative.

Anne Ross, trustee of Kit Aid, in her own wards, was delightful about the strong partnership that continues to exist between the two organizations, which has succeeded in making a huge impact on the life of a teeming number of Gambian children since the partnership was established in 2009.

"This has inspired the children greatly in terms of work and skills improvement," she said while registering her profound appreciation for the efforts of Football Gambia in ensuring that such a valuable initiative continues to bear fruit in The Gambia.

For his part, Thomas Enright Eddie dilated on the importance of the fruitful relationship that has continued to exist between the two organizations, Kit Aid and Football Gambia, since the early crawling days.

The country director of Football Gambia, Yahya Manneh, said Football Gambia chapter would always make itself available to promptly distribute any materials given to them for needy people.

He used the platform to thank and appreciate Kit Aid for what he referred to as their invaluable support to Football Gambia in complementing efforts at maintaining the wellbeing of the Gambian children.
