Female League Commences on Friday

The 2007/8 national female league, will finally kick start on Friday June 27th, 2008, with both first and second division matches.

The first match in Week One of the fixture of the 1st division will be played between the Red Scorpions and Future Bi at the Seaview football field at 4.30pm.

Makasutu will meet 2006/7 league champions Interior FC  the same day at the  Real football field.

Sunday's game will be played between Abuko United and Company Ten.

In the 2nd Division, Jeshwang United will meet City Girls on Friday at the Seaview field, while Kinteh's United  and Jamcity will be locking horns at the Real football field by 3pm.

 Senegambia will meet Watford at the Real Field on Sunday.

The organising committee of the female football league is also planning to introduce the FA cup for the first time this year.
