Mbemba
Fatty alias Iniesta, Alagie Sarr alias Asarr and Ousman Touray alias Mana were
all omitted from Sukuta and Sanyang squads for the 2019 Africell-sponsored
super nawettan competition.
Fatty,
Sarr and Touray were suspended by Gunjur Sports Committee (GSC) after failing
to continue playing for Gunjur United in the Gambia Football Federation (GFF)
second division league last season.
The
trio played nawettan football competitions in Sukuta and Sanyang despite their
suspension by Gunjur Sports Committee (GSC).
Alagie
Sarr and Ousman Touray both played in the Sanyang nawettan and were included in
the coastal town squad for this year’s super nawettan competition.
Mbemba
Fatty played in the Sukuta nawettan and was initially included in the Dembadou
town team for this year’s super nawettan.
The
trio were omitted from Sukuta and Sanyang squads for this year’s super nawettan
competition after Super Nawettan Organising Committee ordered their removal
following a protest lodged by Gunjur Sports Committee (GSC).
