Fatou Mass Jobe-Njie is new ambassador to Malaysia

Reliable sources have informed The Point that Fatou Mass Jobe-Njie, the former minister of Tourism and Culture, has been redeployed to the diplomatic service and is now The Gambia’s ambassador to Malaysia.

Our sources added that she is currently in Malaysia to take up the new post.

In a related development, Yusupha Kah, former minister of Trade has been appointed Gambia’s ambassador to France and UNESCO.

Njogu Waka Bah, at one one time Gambia’s ambassador to France has been reinstated in the civil service as permanent secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Banjul.

Still in another related development, Alhagie Ceesay has been reinstated as Chief of Protocol at the office of the President in Banjul.
