Farato FC will clash with Gunjur FC in the 2010 Western Region third division qualifiers on Saturday at the Sifoe Playing ground.
Farato FC, who won the 2008 Gamcel sponsored Kombo South District tournament, are hoping of snatching a victory to capture a place in the final round of qualifiers as well as in the GFA third triangular tournament.
Gunjur FC, who lost to Lamin FC 1-0 in the 2009 Western region third division qualifiers, are set to make amends.
Dabananeh FC were the only team in Gunjur that played in the GFA second division league from 1994 to 1996 before they were demoted to third division in 1997. Since then Gunjur were unable to make it to the Gambia Football Association (GFA) second division.
Ten teams line up in this year's Western region third division qualifiers, which will be played in the form of a knockout.
Meanwhile, Passamai FC have extended their lead in group B in the 2010-11 Gunjur nawetaan tournament, following their 0-0 draw against Kulukochi United FC at the Gunjur playing ground on Wednesday.
Kulukochi United FC were more compact in the midfield in the second period and created numerous goal-scoring opportunities but let them go astray.
Passamai FC now tops group B with 4 points in two games, while Kulukochi United FC are 3rd place with 2 points.
