Fakebba Drammeh, alias Tiger Woods, the winner of the  just concluded Africell sponsored Golf Competition held at the Fajara Golf Course over the weekend urged companies, private sector, banks and individuals to emulate Africell by sponsoring there competitions.

Drammeh, who on Tuesday 6th April 2010 left The Gambia for Dakar to take part in an International Golf Competition, alongside other professionals thanked Africell for putting up massive prizes for a huge amount of golfers and tennis players.

Tiger as he is widely called further thanked the organising committee of the Fajara Club and those who have contributed to the success of the competition.

He thanked the Gambia Golf Association (GGA), as according to him, the Gambia Golf Association (GGA) has always stood by professional golfers.

Bakary Touray, alias Bax, the runners-up of the Professional Golfers, who finished just a shoot behind Fakebba Drammeh, the winner of the competition said he was not fit for the competition because he was not in the same group with Fakebba Drammeh. As he put it "if I played with Fakebba in the same group I would have easily won him but because we were in different groups I was not feeling any pressure this is why he defeated me."

He also thanked Africell for their support towards the development of sports in the country.

Lamin Jammeh, alias Chankalo, a senior Professional Golfer said he was very proud to be part of the competition.

He also urged other companies to join Africell in developing sports in the country.
