Fabou FC have maintained their unbeaten run in the 2013-2014 Brikama summer biggest football fray following their slender 1-0 victory over Kitty United FC in a mouthwatering clash played at the Brikama Mini Stadium on Sunday.

The victory has put Fabou top spot in their group with maximum 6 points in two outings and also let them stand a better chance of qualifying for the second round of the nawettan.

Kitty United are currently struggling in their group with a single point in two games and need only a win in their next game to keep their hopes of securing a place in the second round of the nawettan as well as to avoid relegation.

Jaliba United humbled Gidda Arrows 2-0 on the same day. Jaliba have now bagged 4 points in two games, whilst Gidda Arrows are with a single point in two matches and will need a win in their last group to qualify for the second round of the nawettan and avoid relegation.

Meanwhile, Sunderland FC have sailed to quarterfinal in the 2013-2014 Gunjur Nawettan after their convincing 3-0 win over Solifo Investment FC in their final group B game played at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field on Monday.

Jakariya Janneh, Dembo Bojang alias Mendez, and Abou Janneh were on target for the UK boys.

The defeat has sent Solifo Investment FC out of the Gunjur Nawettan and also caused them to be relegated after finishing at the bottom of group D with 3 points in three games.
