An MS Enterprise employee, Omar Jallow, was recently arraigned before
Magistrate Jobarteh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with stealing
by clerk or servant.
The charge sheet read in court stated that Modou Jallow, between October and November 2014 at MS Enterprise Serrekunda and diverse places in the Kanifing Municipality, being employed by MS Enterprise as a salesman, by virtue of that position, stole the sum of D110, 600 being the value of goods given out on credit to various customers.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D110, 600 with a Gambian surety, who must swear to an affidavit of means and deposit an ID card.
Hearing was adjourned to 31 December 2014.
