Eight Lower Basic schools are currently lining up for a memorial tournament organised by the Advance Nursery and Lower Basic Schools in remembrance of the school's late mother Mrs. Trudy Douxe, a Holland national who passed away last year.
According to Yusuf, a teacher at the school, the late mother of the school has done a lot for the school, ranging from students sponsorship to educational materials.
Some members of the Douxe family in Holland are expected to witness the memorial tournament, which is also set to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between the participating schools surrounding London Corner in Serrekunda.
