The economic crime case involving three Nigerian nationals was recently adjourned at the Special Criminal Court in Banjul before Justice Emmanuel NKea.

The trial was adjourned on the grounds that the witness who supposed to testify in the case was absent from court.

When the case was called, the DPP informed the court that his witness was not in court hence he would like to apply for an adjournment.

The trial judge then told him that some of the accused persons are in remand and he should try as much as possible to bring his witness on the next adjourned date.

The case was then adjourned till 8 May 2013.
