The championship which is expected to involve a total of 15th African countries, including the host
Sheikh Njie, who made a remarkable performance to earn himself a place in the World Draughts Championship in the last year's Draughts Championship at the Sea View Hotel, along with his Gambian comrade will do everything possible to raise the standards of the Draughts Association, as they looked set to take part in the championship.
The duo are expected back home at the end of the campaign.
