As Dr. Mariatou Jallow Removed
Report monitored over GRTS last Friday evening has stated that President Jammeh has removed Dr. Mariatou Jallow, the Minister for Health and Social Welfare from her cabinet appointment.
According to the report, President Jammeh has in the same vein appointed Dr. Abubacarr Gaye as the new Minister for Health and Social Welfare. No reason(s) was given for her sacking.
This latest sacking follows hot on the heels of that of Momodou Kotu Cham from his cabinet post as Minister of Forestry and Environment last Tuesday.
Dr. Jallow was appointed as Health Minister on 25th November 2008.
