Diamond Fitness Tourney update

Young Nyukoyorr FC have snatched their first victory in the ongoing Diamond Fitness Inter-mediate Football Tournament after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Young Solifo FC at the weekend.

Young Nyokoyorr FC’s only goal of the game was scored by Faburama Janneh in the 55th minute of the game from a brilliant strike to give his side the needed maximum points.

Young Commit FC maintained their unbeaten run in the tournament to three games after a goalless against arch-rivals Young Oxford United FC in group C on Sunday.

Earlier on, Saturday, Black Panthers FC beat struggling side England FC 2-1 in group A at a 3pm encounter, while Central Gunjur defeated Juventus FC 1-0 on the same day in group A at 5pm.

Black Panthers FC are leading group A with 10 points in four games, Central Gunjur FC are 2nd position with 6 points in three games, Juventus FC 3rd position with 3 points in three games, while England FC are rooted at the bottom of group A with 1 points in three games.

Young Commit FC are leading group B with 5 points in three games, Young Nyokoyorr FC are 2nd position with 5 points in three games, a single goal behind group leader Commit FC. Young Solifo are 3rd with 4 points in three games, while Young Oxford United 4th with 3 points in four games.
