Kuloro, Faraba Banta, Shom and Tubakuta are all through to the semi-final of the ongoing Late Kebba Touray Inter-village Football Tournament after winning their quarterfinal ties at the weekend.
Kuloro progressed to the semi-final after thrashing defending champions Pirang 2-0 in the first semi-final played at the Faraba Banta playground.
Shom advanced to the semi-final after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Nigi in the second semi-final game played at the Pirang playground, while Faraba Banta edged past Tubakuta 4-3 on post-match penalty shootout to reach the semi-final after a stalemate result in the regulation time at the Kuloro playground.
Tubakuta, on the hand, did qualify as the best loser.
