Alex Okechukwu recently took one Abubacarr Camara to the Kanifing Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate Tabally, for an alleged amount of D30,000 Camara should pay him.
The plaintiff was therefore claiming from the defendant D30,000, a cost charge of D200 and an interest of 20% per annum for the money owed him by the defendant.
The plaintiff further claimed cost of damages for bridge of contract at the rate of 25%.
Camara, the defendant, admitted a liability of D18,000 to Mr Okechukwu but denied taken D30,000 from him.
Consequently the court entered judgment in favour of the plaintiff in the sum admitted to by the defendant and ordered him to pay on or before 7 February 2011.
The case was then adjourned till 8 February 201I.
