The release signed by NSC Executive Director Marcel Mendy added that, “all sports bodies wanting to be regarded as national sports bodies and or represent The Gambia must meet the aforementioned deadline, pending which they will not be regarded as national sports bodies and will not, therefore, represent The Gambia until their registration status is regularized”.
Application forms are available at the National Sports Council office at the Independence Stadium, Bakau, the release further stated.
“By a copy of this press release, all Embassies and Consulates are humbly urged to from henceforth ensure that all sports bodies intending to travel produce a letter of clearance from the National Sports Council before they are issued visas or entry clearance”, it stated.
The National Sports Council in conclusion took the opportunity to thank all stakeholders for their collaboration in the quest to advance Gambian sports for well-being and excellence.
