Identified as a tall-dark in complexion man believed to be in his early 30s, the body was recovered by the police at a time when there was no shirt on him, but was wearing a green short, David Kujabi, police public relations officer, told The Point yesterday.
According to the police mouthpiece, the police suspect there was foul play, because at the time of its discovery, the nose was bleeding, forehead swollen and part of the left hand looked as if it sustained burns.
‘‘Until a post-mortem is conducted, and the cause of death confirmed, the police suspect foul play and, therefore, investigations are ongoing,’’ Kujabi said.
He went on to call on the general public, and anyone who may have any information that could help the police in their investigations, to come forward and help.
