The Banjul Magistrates Court, presided over by Magistrate Lamin Mbye is today expected to deliver judgment in the case involving the former director general of the Gambia Immigration Department, Buba Sagnia, who was charged with abuse of office.
It would be recalled that during the long trial, the prosecution called several witnesses, and tendered exhibits.
At the closure of the prosecution’s case, the defence filed a no-case-to-answer submission, which was overruled by the court, which asked the accused person to open his defence and give his side of the story.
