The alleged theft case involving one Buba Jallow, a resident of Latrikunda Sabiji, could not proceed recently before Magistrate Abeke of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court on the grounds that the witness of the police prosecutor was absent.
When the case was called in court, the police prosecutor applied for an adjournment on the grounds that his witness was not in court.
The trial magistrate upheld the prosecution’s application, and adjourned the case to 25 September2014, for the continuation of the hearing.
