CRR Governor Ganyie Touray removed

According to reliable sources, Ganyie Touray, who served as Governor of the Central River Region, CRR, for several years, was yesterday removed from office with immediate effect.

He has been replaced by Omar Khan, former Governor in the Upper River Region, URR.

Our sources added that Alassan David Jammeh was reinstated as chief of Nianija district in the CRR.
