Credence Nursery School in Nema Kunku, Kombo North District, Western Region are seeking assistance from the government, NGOs, the private sector, GSM operators, individuals and philanthropies to help them build a three classroom block, equipped with an office.
Speaking to this reporter in an interview over the weekend, Lamin Conteh, the Head of the school said the school was founded on 11th May 1998 in Nema Kunku, where they started operating under a mango tree for three years, but later rented a house that was built for a shop.
Mr. Conteh added that in 2000, a lady from England bought a land for the school, in which the compound was built with mud blocks. He also revealed that the school has since then been built, with both the roof and the building being in deplorable conditions.
