A Magistrate Court in Kanifing recently ruled in favour of one Adama Max, the plaintiff, who dragged the defendant, Adama Camara to court, claiming D1800, being osusu contributions.
In her testimony before the court, the plaintiff, Adama Max told the court that the defendant is the head of their osusu society.
She added that on Tuesdays and Fridays members of the osusu society contribute D17 each to the defendant. She adduced that the defendant was to secure goods for members of the society
The plaintiff further stated that at the end of the contribution, the defendant never gave her share of the contribution. He said several demands were made but to no avail.
Consequently, the court entered judgment in favour of the plaintiff for the sum of D458 and court cost of D165.
