Court issues bench warrant

The Kanifing Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate Fatou Lili Drammeh on 8 March 2010 revoked the bail conditions granted to the accused person, one Mamadou Jallow, and issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

This development followed the application made by the police prosecutor, 319 Jobe, for the accused, Mamadou Jallow, to be arrested and brought to court on the next adjournment date.

According to the particulars of the offence, the accused, Mamadou Jallow, on 19 September 2010 at Tabokoto in the Kanifing Municipality with intent to defraud attempted to obtain an amount of D1200 from one Dawda Sambou by false pretence.

The case was subsequently adjourned to 16 March 2010.
