Computer Thief in Court

One Ebrima Colley and his co-accused Modou Ngum on Tuesday appeared before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Brikama Magistrates' Court for stealing.

According to the particulars of the offence, on 11th July 2008 in Brikama, the two accused Ebrima Colley and Modou Ngum were alleged to have entered into the house of one Momodou Ndong and stolen a laptop and a camera. They are respectively valued at D45, 000 and D35, 000.

They pleaded guilty.

In another development, the said accused Ebrima Colley, who has been standing trial for escaping from lawful custody contrary to section 108 of criminal code, on Tuesday appeared before the Brikama Magistrates' Court.

He pleaded guilty.

The case was adjourned to 24th November 2008..
