Comium, one of the three telecommunications providers in the country, has opened a new branch in Brikama to cater for the needs of customers in the area.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the communications officer with Comium, Ms Yasin Graye, said Comium is always leading the way with programmes to satisfy customers and that others follow. She said that they are opening branches in many areas because Comium has an interest in people having a full coverage and network. "We do not always make noise, but we always endevour to satisfy," she said.
Samual Mehaidly, the commercial director of Comium, said that the company is an integral part of society and is doing all it can to ensure that enhanced, reliable communications are available to everyone.
For her part, the customer service supervisor, Mrs. Shuaib Jallow, said that for the past 18 months there have been great changes in the telecommunications industry in The Gambia.
She said this was down to Comium's entry into the market and their numerous programmes for customers. She called on Gambians and non-Gambians to join Comium, as it's the network that is internationally covered.
