The hotel management, on 30 May 2014 held the Gala Staff party to thank all their staff who had โworked so hardโ over the Winter Season.
Over 200 staff attended the party, held as a reward for their work. Staff who were nominated by their Heads of Department were presented with their Employees of The Year certificates.
Wayne Quin, General Manager of Coco Ocean, said afterwards, that the gala staff party was a small gesturefrom the hotel to show the staff that their workover the high seasonwas โvery muchappreciatedโ by the Management,as it was alsoโreflectedin the guest comments receivedโ.
โWithout dedicated staff who are proud to do their best for the hotel and work hard, particularly for special events, the hotel would be unable to maintain the high standard of which it is so proud,โ he said.
A large raffle was held with goods โkindly donatedโ by suppliers and others during the evening amidst a large buffet and complementary soft drinks throughout the occasion, accompanied by live music.
The staff were all very appreciative of the gesture and thanked the Management for their โconsideration and kindnessโ.
