Coach Jammeh Unhappy with Team's Performance

Following their earlier exit from the 2008 baby Muhammed Yahya Jammeh's Super Nawettan Competition, the head coach of Serrekunda West zonal team, Ousman Jammeh, said that he was disappointed with the performance of his team.

Coach Jammeh raged over the way his boys under performed leading to their early exit from the competition organised by GFA and sponsored by President Jammeh.

In an exclusive interview with Pointsports shortly after the final group A match at Serrekunda West Mini Stadium, Coach Jammeh revealed that his boys showed no game discipline in the three matches. He continued to blame the players for the team's early exit from the championship.

He further fumed that his team played a series of test matches which they won and "coming to the zonal we cannot even win a single match in the tournament."

According to Coach Jammeh, his team was well prepared for tournament both mentally and physically. Thus, "I see no reason why we cannot win our matches". He stressed that,"We played three matches but we were unable to secure a victory, this is bizarre," Coach Jammeh lamented.

He commended Serrekunda West Youth Sports Association and all those who contributed towards the development of sports in Serrekunda West especially football.
