Ceesay Garage beat Jara FC in Fajara tourney

Ceesay Garage FC on Sunday defeated Jara FC 3-2 in the ongoing Fajara Youths Football Tournament organised by Ma Ansu Nicol in a well-contested encounter played at the Cocktail Football Field.

Samsideen Sarr opened the score-line for Jara FC in the 2nd minute of the game before Lamin Sanneh doubled the lead for Jara FC in the 8th minute but a determined Ceesay Garage FC fought back to pull a goal through Ebrima Camara in the 20th minute before Alagie Jallow levelled the scores for his side from the penalty spot in the 48th minute.

Substitute Baba Bojang sealed the victory for Ceesay Garage FC in the dying minutes of the encounter.

Ceesay Garage FC have now collected 7 points in four games, while Jara FC have bagged 4 points in four encounters.

Earlier on the same day, Tali Bi FC were awarded maximum three points after their opponents Mecskys FC failed to show up for their game after losing their previous two games of the competition.

In the 5pm encounter of Saturday, Kebbeh FC lost to Smile Africa FC by 2-1.

Kebbeh FC are managing a single point in 3 games while Smile Africa FC have secured 4 points in two encounters.

In the 3pm kickoff of the same day and venue, defending champions Nac City FC beat Ebras Barbing FC 2-1.

Nac City FC have now collected 4 points in two encounters while Ebras Barbing FC have secured a point in two games.

On Friday 16 May 2014, Damja FC beat Lemong Bi FC by a goal to nil in the 3pm encounter played at the Cocktail football grounds.

Damja FC have bagged 4 points in two games while Lemong Bi FC have only managed a single point in 3 encounters.

In the 5pm encounter of the day Sisasea FC beat Bayern Medics FC by two goals to one.

Sisasea FC have now collected 4 points in two encounters while Bayern Medics FC are managing a point in two outings.
