Case of obtaining money by false pretence adjourned for defence

The case of obtaining money by false pretence involving one Morro Gaye was adjourned recently for defence before Magistrate Isatou Janneh of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court.

When the case was called, the accused made an application for the court to give him time to secure the service of a lawyer.

The prosecuting officer did not object to the application and the court granted his application, and adjourned the case till 3 September 2014, for the accused to secure the service of a legal counsel and for defence.

He was however told by the trial magistrate that if he failed to secure the service of a lawyer, the case would proceed.
