After admitting to the offence of obstruction to traffic one Saikou Njie of Brikama was recently convicted and fined D1000 in default to serve one year imprisonment by the Brikama Magistrates' Court.
According to the particulars of the offence some time this year at the Brikama car-park the convict drove a motor vehicle BJL 1688 by parking on the highway thereby obstructing the traffic.
In a separate development One Naya Joof was recently ordered to compensate the complainant the sum of D2000.
