Captains Day Golf competition ends

Captains Day Golf Competition organised by the Fajara Golf Club last Sunday 17th January 2010 ended at the Fajara Golf Course.

Gibou Jallow was named the winner of the professional golfers after finishing with 69 points, while Fakebba Drammeh took second with 74 points and Bakary Touray occupied third with 75 points.

The winner of the best bonca story went to Allan Collins. Pierre Sarr and David Costello emerged the winners of the woods.

Fakebba Drammeh emerged the winner of the longest drive in the professionals, while in the caddies Sarjo Barry emerged the winner of the longest drive.

In the ladies category, Linda Linarch was named the winner of the nearest to the pin and in the male category, David Costello was named the winner of the nearest to the pin hole number 5 and the winner of the longest drive hole number 4 went to Peter Milla, the Vice-Captain of the Fajara Golf Club.

The winner of the best senior golfer went to Tom Palma, while John Jr. Kuo was named the winner of the best junior golfer.

Tijan Senghore went home with the Most Golf prize, while Allan Collins, the Chairman of the Fajara Golf Club went home with low category prize.

Morris was named the winner of the handicap prize, while Berry Wells occupied second place. The overall winner of the Amateur prize went to Peter Milla.
