CAF names Omar Sey in Standing Committee for 2013-2015

The Gambia Football Federation Normalisation Committee Vice Chairman Alh Omar Sey has been named in theConfederation ofAfricanfootball committee forInter-Club Competition as part of the African football body’s standing committees for 2013-2015.

CAF on Tuesday announced on cafonline that the Confederation of African Football’s Executive Committee, in its meeting in Cairo on 15 and 16 May 2013 approved the appointments of the new members for CAF Standing Committees for 2013-2015, following a new system of selection.

The Inter-Club Competition committee, which is part of over twenty other committees, is headed by CAF President Issa Hayatou and Algeria’s Mohamed Raouraoua the Vice President.

Sey is one of the longest-serving football icons on the continent’s governing body. He has served on various CAF committees.
