Magistrate Mbakeh of the Bundung Magistrates' Court recently convicted and sentenced one Lamarana Sowe to nine months in prison with hard labour for shop breaking and stealing.
According to the charge sheet on count one, on 31st July 2010, at Bundung Borehole, the accused, Lamarana Sowe broke into the shop of one Abdoulie Jallow with intent to commit a felony.
While count two revealed that the accused person on 31st July 2010, at Bundung Borehole stole from the shop of one Abdoulie Jallow the following items: three small cooking pots, valued at D400 and a radio cassette player valued at D700.
He pleaded guilty to the charge preferred against him and also admitted the fact as narrated by the prosecutor.
