The Brikama Magistrates' Court, presided over by Principal Magistrate Nkea recently heard a criminal case of rash and negligent act, causing death brought against one Lamin Saho.
According to the particulars of offence, on 5th August 2010 along Mandinaba-Kembujeng highway, the accused, Lamin Saho drove a motor vehicle with a registration number BJL 1025E in a rash and negligent manner, and thereby caused the death of one Ebrima Jallow.
The accused who pleaded not guilty to the charge was granted a court bail in the sum of D50, 000 with a Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned to 24th August 2010 for hearing.
