The Bundung Red Cross Link, one of the strongest links within the Kanifing Municipal Red Cross branch, on February 21st held its 12th annual evaluation at a ceremony held at the link office in Bundung.
The evaluation exercise also coincided with the inauguration of the new advisory board for the link as well as the launch of the 3rd edition of the newsletter which is being powered by the link.
The link leader, Njogu Jeng, commended the volunteers of the link for their commitment and selfless service to humanity.
According to him, there are over 250 volunteers in the Bundung Home Red Cross Link.
He highlighted the recruitment of more volunteers, capacity building and humanitarian interventions as some of the major achievements of the link.
The outgoing finance controller, Esatou Jallow, said that her team has register D24, 550 describing it as another major boost for the link.
