The Appropriation Bill (Budget Speech) is scheduled for Friday 18th December 2009, according to a press release from the National Assembly.
According to the release, the fourth meeting of the National Assembly in 2009 Legislative Year (Budget Session) has now been scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday 2nd December 2009, and the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs shall on that day lay before the National Assembly the Draft 2010 Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure of the Government of The Gambia for the fiscal year 1st January to 31st December 2010, and henceforth the Appropriation Bill (Budget Speech) shall be delivered by the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs on Friday 18th December 2009.
The release stated that the Assembly shall on Monday 7th December 2009 proceed to consider and debate on the Draft Estimates 2010, which shall be conducted on Thursday 10th December 2009.
