Gibba Selection on Saturday came from one nil down to thrash Buba Star Janneh
Selection 3-1 in a fund-raising encounter played at the Gunjur Nyamina football
field.
Buba Star Janneh Selection opened the tally through former Real De Gunjur striker Yusupha Bojang alias Ous Gaye a few minutes into the game. Former Jannehkoto striker AbdoulieJanneh leveled the scores for Buba Gibsa Gibba Selection before the break from Sulay Sambou’s excellent past to cancel Yusupha Bojang’searly minutes opener.
Former YSB striker Sulay Sambou netted the second goal for Buba Gibsa Gibba Selection after the interval, before Former YSB winger Lamin Sarr sealed the win a moment later from Sulay Sambou’s brilliant efforts to fire Buba Gibsa Selection to a resounding win overBuba Star Janneh Selection.
The game was organised by the Gunjur Sports Committee to raised funds for the Gunjur zonal team’s participation in the upcoming Premier Games-sponsored Super Nawetan set for 24 November 2014.
